Intermediate classes are reserved for students working on the swing and beyond. Approval by a SANCA School of Flight instructor is required.

Did you know that SANCA’s annual registration fee ($50) is your ticket to being a member in the School of Flight? Indeed!
And did you know that members have great benefits? Discounted pricing for 2-hour classes, multiple-class punch cards, and access to our Flying Trapeze flash discounts!
For kids in love with trapeze and dedicated to coming weekly, SANCA offers opportunities to be on a Fly Team!
Age, weight restrictions: You must be at least 6 years old to take a regular 2-hr class, but ages 4 and up can fly on Friday afternoon at our Pay Per Flight session and at private Flying Trapeze Parties. There is no upper age limit. Our maximum flyer weight is 225lbs.
Do I have to be in good shape? No, you do not have to be in good shape to participate, especially at the basic level. But you might find that trapeze inspires you to get in better shape.
What do I wear? You should wear comfortable athletic clothing that allows you to move freely, but nothing too baggy. Many people wear yoga pants or leggings, running tights, or anything that won’t bunch up behind your knees. Also, be sure to wear or bring socks.
Do I need to bring anything with me? Besides a spirit of adventure and the willingness to try something out of the ordinary, you should bring along a water bottle (drinking water is provided at the tent), something to take photos or video (proof of your achievement!), and friends or family to share the experience with.
Are there any forms that I need to fill out before I arrive? You may complete the online preregistration form (which will be emailed to our office) or you may complete a paper waiver at the SANCA School of Flight big top tent before class begins.
What is your class cancellation policy? Classes are non-refundable, but reservations may be changed or cancelled at least 48 hours prior to the start of the class.
Can I get a discount if I sign up for more than one class at a time? Yes! By paying SANCA’s annual membership fee, you will have access to our Prepaid Packages: 5, 10, and 20 Class Swing Sets. The more classes you buy, the greater the discount per class.
What are the other benefits of being a member? As a SANCA member, you have access to sign up for a wide variety of circus classes in our main space, a discount on individual classes at the School of Flight, as well as the discounts mentioned above.
I have an expired Living Social voucher/Goupon Coupon, now what? Give us a call at 206.652.4433 and be sure to have your voucher number handy. The original purchase price of your voucher/coupon will be honored and can be used towards a class reservation!
Is Flying Trapeze safe? Yes. Of course, as in any other physical activity, there are risks. With our well trained staff and safety procedures, our aim is to show you the magic of the circus with the highest degree of safety at all times.
