Chinese Pole

SANCAthon_2013_man_pole_cornicello_01_smChinese pole is a wonderful workout and a beautiful form of acrobatic movement. Originally from China, it is now practiced and performed all over the world. It involves climbs, poses, slides, and other motions on a fixed vertical pole. It is a great physical and mental challenge! This mixed level class emphasizes safety, fundamental skills, and strength conditioning. Students begin with basic climbs and holds and progress to more complex movements as their strength and confidence increase. Feiyue shoes (or similar, with flexible, sticky soles) are required.
