Allison Hein is a Senior Finance Manager at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation where she works closely with colleagues based in Ethiopia, Nigeria, and South Africa. As a financial planning and analysis business partner, Allison focuses on organizational capacity, strategic resource allocation, and development and management of grants with an eye towards cost effectiveness and sustainability. Allison began her career in investments and is a Chartered Financial Analyst and member of the CFA Society of Seattle since 2012. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Finance from Florida State University and an MBA from the University of California-Berkeley Haas School of Business.
Originally from rural Northern Idaho, Allison has been a Seattle resident for over a decade. Her hobbies include yoga, running (she has completed 7 half-marathons), French language, and travel. Aerial arts have been near and dear to hear heart since childhood, and she looks forward to taking classes at SANCA.
