Autumn 2025 Circus Camps Descriptions

Ring 1: Ages 6-8
An introduction to the wonders of circus arts for our youngest aspiring circus artists! Campers will develop increased body awareness through tumbling and balancing their bodies, work collaboratively in a small group learning interpersonal skills, resilience, and kindness. Registration for this camp closes on November 20th at noon.
Ring 2: Ages 9-12

Ring 1: Ages 6-8
An introduction to the wonders of circus arts for our youngest aspiring circus artists! Join us for a magical day of circus fun at our single-day circus camp designed for campers aged 6-8! Young campers will have the opportunity to learn and master a variety of thrilling circus skills. They’ll explore tumbling on our Spring Floor and Tumbl Trak, experience the unique apparatus German Wheel, and discover the art of juggling and object manipulation. They’ll soar through the air on our aerial fabric and static trapeze, bounce on our trampolines, and even try their hand at clowning and tightwire walking. With encouraging coaches guiding them every step of the way, our campers will leave with a sense of confidence and accomplishment, as well as a newfound love for the world of circus arts. Ring 2: Ages 9-12
Campers will be presented with a wonderful introduction to many different circus disciplines while working together in their groups to explore the joys of everything that SANCA has to offer! Join us for an exciting single-day circus camp designed for ages 9-12, where young performers will immerse themselves in the art of circus skills! Participants will soar through the air on aerial fabric and static trapeze, bounce their way to fun on the trampoline, and unleash their inner comedian through engaging clowning techniques. They’ll challenge their balance on the tightwire, explore tumbling on our Spring Floor and Tumbl Trak, experience the unique apparatus German Wheel, and explore the enchanting world of juggling and object manipulation, all while cultivating confidence and creativity in a supportive environment. This fun-filled day promises laughter, teamwork, and a celebration of the circus arts! Camp families are welcome to register for multiple days. Circus Menagerie (Advanced Camp): Ages 10-15
Join us for an exhilarating camp experience that elevates your circus skills to new heights! Campers will engage in a dynamic mix of aerial rope, fabric, static trapeze, German Wheel, juggling, trampoline, tightwire, object manipulation, and tumbling, all while prioritizing impeccable technique and safety. Our structured approach fosters skill development through progressive challenges, ensuring success as campers refine their fundamentals. In addition, the program offers essential cross-training in flexibility and conditioning, promoting proactive injury prevention and robust strength-building for every participant. While this camp group will be more focused on skill acquisition, there will be no shortage of laughter and fun! Campers can expect to strengthen and flex their creativity muscles as well while exploring clowning and performance techniques. Camp families are welcome to register for multiple days. Enrollment Information and FAQs
How to enroll:
- Check availability HERE or call our office at 206-652-4433.
- Enrollments are also accepted in person.
- A $75 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your registration.
- Payment plans are available for Summer Camps online at checkout. After paying the non-refundable deposit, the remaining balance is due by June 1st.
- Limited camp scholarships are available. Our scholarship application can be found here. This form should be completed before enrolling your student.
Camp Transfer and Cancellation Policy:
- Camp tuition is not transferable or refundable within 72 hours of the date camp begins.
- Transfer requests from one week to another, up to 72 hours before camp begins, do not have a financial penalty, but transfer requests are subject to availability. If you transfer out of one camp and there are students waiting, your spot will no longer be available should you change your mind.
- Cancellations made prior to the two weeks before camp begins will be fully refunded minus the $75 camp deposit (applied to each camp registration separately)
- Cancellations made in the two weeks before camp begins are subject to a cancellation fee of 50% of the cost of camp, and the remaining 50% balance of the unused tuition will be refunded.
- Cancellations made within 72 hours of the start of camp are not eligible for any refund.
Waitlists:
- Waitlists are available online through our registration portal. The system will automatically email waitlisted students if space becomes available.
Attendance:
- Students are expected to attend the camps in which they are enrolled.
- Camp tuition is not prorated.
Confirmations and communications:
- You will receive an email confirmation for camp enrollment.
- Using our email newsletter service, we send out camp reminder emails the Friday before camp starts, as well as information about camp experiences and events during the week of camp.
- Campers will need to bring a lunch and water bottle for each day of the camp.

Things to Keep in Mind for a Successful Camp:
-Shoulder length hair must be tied back
-Wear layers!
-Bring snacks and a lunch
-Absolutely no zippers or buckles on clothing
-Label EVERYTHING that comes to camp
