Alicia is a CPA specializing in nonprofit accounting, consulting, and training. Her path to accounting was circuitous: after getting a BA in creative writing from the University of Washington, she co-founded US Quadball, a nonprofit sports league that advances gender inclusivity in sports. A knack for spreadsheets and numbers took her from there into nonprofit operations, then bookkeeping and accounting. She discovered circus arts in 2014 and immediately fell in love, training at Versatile Arts and then in Portland as part of The Circus Project’s 2017-2018 training and performance company. She is delighted to find a new circus home at SANCA and bring together her love of circus and numbers as board treasurer.
